Tuesday	1) Finish powerpoint on Review of Chem - Set quiz date 2) Evolution Pre-Assessment	1) Finished review of Chem Quiz is set for Friday. 2) Completed the Evolution unit Pre-Assessment 3) Discussed the plan for Wed.
Feb. 7
Wednesday	SUB 1) Work on the evolution unit handout set.  Focus on the worksheets starting on page 14 - Biology 30 - Evidence for Evolution (it has the pictures of the skelatons on the front of the worksheet) -- You do not need to colour the bones in just look at how they are shaded. --> This should be completed by the end of the hour. 2) Look for the purple handout that I gave out last week.  It asks what do you know about Carbs, Lipids and Proteins. - please fill in what you know about these topics without referencing a textbook or website. - Then jot down what you would like to learn more about.  3) If you have finished the items mentioned above you can review your chemistry terms. - Try the Review of Chemistry on Quizlet. Thursday	1) Set date to correct Evidence for Evolution worksheet: ________ 2) Did you try the Quizlet Review of Chemistry (What is Quizlet). - Practice review of chem quiz - Try recording your scores using the following reporting option for formative assessment. 3) What do we know about Carbs? - Work through carbohydrates.	1) Reviewed what it means to ask a question in class and how that connects to the rubric for summative assessments. 2) Looked at Quizlet as a study tool. 3) Practice Quiz on Review of Chem 4) Started setting up our Google site Portfolio.
Feb. 9
Friday	1) Review of Chem Quiz 2) As you wait for people to finish up the quiz you can finish up your Evidence for Evolution worksheet for Tuesday or you can continue building your website. 3) Finish the basic structure of our Google Portfolios: - build in the rest of the pages - Unit 3: Genetics - Unit 4 - Animal Systems - Unit 5 - Evolution - Web 2.0 Tools You already have: Unit 1: Biochem Unit 2: Cells Blog (set up in the announcement style) - Review how to insert video, links, etc. - Review google docs and how to share **Share website with Mrs. Painchaud 4) What do we know about Carbohydrates?	1) Wrote our Quiz.   2) Added the rest of our pages to the website.   3) Completed the Find Someone Who Activity   4) Started working on information about carbohydrates.
