Wednesday	1)Reminders: - Quiz - Thurs - WW - hand in as soon as complete (Preferably by the end of the week - We will start presentation after the break) Evolution questions to be corrected Friday. 2) Review of Chem Terms (Practice for the quiz)  - Here is an example of a Web 2.0 tool which you can use to help you study for many classes.  I have prepared a sample Review of Chemistry set. - Quizlet - Review of Chem Terms 3) Carbs - Review what we know - What we would like to know - Basics of Carbs - check in to what we want to know and see what we need to discuss. 4) Food Label Activity If we have time:  Overview Review check in - In a different color go back to page 1 & 2  and fill in questions #1-7. - Please use a different color pen to do this	Quizlet Practice Test: For today, please select matching, multiple choice, true/false or a combination of and to be prompted with the definition.  Next set your question limit at 15 terms and hit reconfigure and begin the review. When you have completed the review note your score and send Mrs. Painchaud a wiki mail message with your result out of 15.  (This is formative).  Send wiki mail to sp245. Learned about Quizlet as a review tool.  Did a 15 question practice quiz. Worked through Carbohydrates.
Feb. 16
Thursday	1) Complete Quiz and hand in (we will correct tomorrow in class after missing people have written). 2) Complete Nutrition Survey 3) Chat with your Grade 5 - Ask about their plans for the break. **If you are done everything to this point today, you can go back to the starting overview/review document and update the first 2 pages using a different color pen. 2) Google Apps - Skype introduction with Mr.Kezema - What is Google Apps and how does it work. - Your usernames and passwords - Practice Google Doc Activity - Carbohydrates Class Research Shared Google Doc  - updated doc on wikispaces 3) Carbs - Quick Review - What questions were not answered (5 minutes to search for questions and use a google doc to report back.) 4) Food Label 5) Lipids	1) Quiz 3) chatted with Grade 5s 3) Learned about google apps and tried working in a shared document.

Thursday	Today's Video Message 1) Begin today with your Wonder Why Assignment. (This should take about 1/2 hour) 2) Continue on with the evolution package.  Chapter 9 questions should be finished up and you should start on Chapter 21).	Click here to sign up for your discussion forum question. Wonder Why Question Sign up Chapter 9 Questions are due for Monday next week.  Friday we will check in and see how it is going.

Google Apps	Change of plans as Mrs. Painchaud was not feeling healthy. 1) We worked on a review of Chem Crossword puzzle. 2) We spent 20 minutes working on wrapping up our wonder why questions. 3) Then we worked on our Evolution questions. We also chatted with our Grade 5 students.
