- We will discuss any terms that you are not familiar with or would like to review.

3) Finish and correct Review of Chem Crossword.

4) Set Quiz date

1) We reviewed the key questions of this unit and started our notes on homeostasis.  We will continue to add to these over the semester.

2) Worked through the crossword puzzle as a review.

3) Used Wikispaces to highlight what we know and want to know about carbs.

4) Chatted with our Grade 5 buddies

5) Searched for carb related info.

Wednesday

- WW - hand in as soon as complete
(Preferably by the end of the week - We will start presentation after the break)
Evolution questions to be corrected Friday.

2) Review of Chem Terms (Practice for the quiz)
 - Here is an example of a Web 2.0 tool which you can use to help you study for many classes.  I have prepared a sample Review of Chemistry set.

- check in to what we want to know and see what we need to discuss.

4) Food Label Activity

- In a different color go back to page 1 & 2  and fill in questions #1-7.
- Please use a different color pen to do this
  •  Quizlet Practice Test:
  • For today, please select matching, multiple choice, true/false or a combination of and to be prompted with the definition.  Next set your question limit at 15 terms and hit reconfigure and begin the review.
  • When you have completed the review note your score and send Mrs. Painchaud a wiki mail message with your result out of 15.  (This is formative).  Send wiki mail to sp245.
  1. Learned about Quizlet as a review tool.  Did a 15 question practice quiz.
  2. Worked through Carbohydrates.
Feb. 16

Thursday
1) Complete Quiz and hand in
(we will correct tomorrow in class after missing people have written).

2) Complete Nutrition Survey

3) Chat with your Grade 5 - Ask about their plans for the break.

**If you are done everything to this point today, you can go back to the starting overview/review document and update the first 2 pages using a different color pen.

2) Google Apps
- Skype introduction with Mr.Kezema
- What is Google Apps and how does it work.
- Your usernames and passwords
- Practice Google Doc Activity

- Carbohydrates Class Research Shared Google Doc

- Quick Review
- What questions were not answered (5 minutes to search for questions and use a google doc to report back.)
